Best window for temple walking across Capital Rim and Thebes Belt. Mornings are cool enough for West Bank tombs; evenings invite Nile feluccas. Reef Line and Highlands still warm for swimming.
May – September
Heat dominates inland stone. Shift to dawn starts, long midday shade, and coast or highland recovery. Abu Simbel and Giza still work with very early tickets — avoid stacking three outdoor sites in one afternoon.
One empty half-day each week matters more in summer than any extra monument.
